FROM PUBLIC TOILETS TO SEAFRONT HOMES

A former Victorian public toilet block on Margate seafront presented an unusual development opportunity.

Rather than demolish the existing building, I changed the development strategy and took the project back through planning, retaining its character while addressing the site's flood risk requirements, and transforming the building into light filled coastal retreats with sea and sunset views.

I managed the entire development, from strategy and planning through construction, interior design and final sale.

I start with the end in mind. I source and assess property opportunities by considering the finished product, target market and likely exits, alongside the purchase price, development potential, costs and risks before presenting an opportunity for investment.

Development

Once funding is agreed, I manage the project from acquisition through planning, design and construction, coordinating the professional team and keeping you updated throughout.
